I have talked to so many people on and offline who are really driven to do this and haven’t got the know how that I decided to take some action.

I am fortunate enough to have spent long days and nights discovering, gathering, testing, learning and mastering the immense quantities of different processes and ways for establishing a presence on the web, drawing surfers to my web sites and continuosly refining my ways of doing things. I felt compelled to educate people.

I have been thinking about this for about twelve months now and whenever I have had some free time I have been assembling my teaching material. Most people who is starting out or already building a presence on the web wants a quick win, I’m no different and therefore whenever I have found excellent material and tools that work I am going to direct my students at these rather than try and reinvent the wheel.

Everything I have reviewed that has delivered good or excellent results will be incorporated in my training material and where there are gaps I have filled them in. Before putting any effort whatsoever into creating any web pages you should have considered how you intend to get people to visit and ‘consume’ your content. It doesn’t matter what content you intend to put on your web pages there can only be one reason for a web pages existence and that is to get people to visit it. You need a significant proportion of your traffic to come from the search engines. The most economical and focused traffic is delivered by the search engines.

Search engines make money through presenting searchers with answers they are looking for. The number one goal of every search engine is to attract users and increase loyalty and this can only be done by delivering what the searchers are looking for in a relevant and timely fashion. The more frequently users return to the search engine the more opportunity and income the search engines create. Your task is to work to achieve similar goals for your web pages.Make your users experience your number one priority so they return to your web pages time and time again.

So what should you do?. There are two methods that you can use. You can create and publish great content and persuade other web site owners to link to it or you can advertise on the search engines using PPC (Pay Per Click).

As far as all of the search engines are concerned nothing exists on the internet without a keyword or a key phrase. The whole user experience starts with a keyword or key phrase being entered into the search engine to tell it what the user is looking for. The search engine refers to a gigantic index to retrieve a list of the web pages it deems to be the most relevant to the keywords the user entered. All search engines determine what will be returned in the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) by using two measures authority and relevance.

Relevance is determined by the occurrence of keywords in the web page content and authority is largely derived from back links from other web pages. The number and authority of the back links to a web page help the search engine determine the position the web page will occupy in the list of pages.

Back links are the sledge hammers of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).

Back links have two major functions – routing traffic to your web pages and helping the search engines determine the ranking of your web pages in the results returned by a user search. Back links that are appropriately named in web pages are more likely to be clicked on by users. The technical term for text associated with a back link is “anchor text” and this play a role in the value attributed to every back link discovered by the search engines. Whilst all back links are of value some are more valuable than others.

Back links from web pages that contain content related to your web page have an impact on the authority of your web page.The higher the authority of the web page ‘sending’ the back link the more authority is likely to received by your web pages.

Evolution is an amazing science fiction stories will keep you from start to finish. I’m closing in on the end of my new fiction book and as always during this stage, I’ve begun to think about the editing process in earnest. When I first started I will revise the work of each, I went along. This is a time-consuming and frustrating. My creative side was pushing to move ahead while the editor in me wanted to fix every single paragraph until it was just right. By the time that happened, my muse had gone to sleep, convinced that I’ve never get to the next paragraph. And trust me, waking her up again was always a bitch.

Elmore Leonard’s Ten Rules of Writing

1. Never open a book with weather. I’ve never done this, which means it’s so far so good.

2. Avoid prologues. Okay, so I knew my success rate couldn’t last. I just never thought I would be voted off the island this rapidly. My fiction novel download opens with a prologue. Leonard goes on to say that “they can be annoying.” I can certainly understand where he is coming from and almost took out the prologue in HERETIC just for that reason. In the end, I decided to leave it as I wanted to include some background information into the storyline before the reader meets the main characters. I did not manage to resist the temptation to write a sequel, angel scream.

3. Never use a verb other than “said” to carry dialogue. I agree wholeheartedly with this statement and do my best to avoid the temptation to do otherwise. I think this is one of the most common mistakes new writers fall into and it can certainly pull the reader right out of the text. I recently spent an entire coaching session with a writer client dealing with just this issue. I still occasionally a victim of its own, but it will be a serious mistake which I will be scouring the work currently under way, once I enter the editing phase.

4. Never use an adverb to modify the verb “said” . . . Frankly, I suck at this. I’m getting better, but this one has plagued me for years and it is something I have to keep reminding myself about on a regular basis.

5. Never used the “sudden” or “all become a mess.” I think I’m guilty of both, especially the first one. I’ve been more cognizant of “suddenly” in my more recent work, but I know my top thriller novels was plagued with it. “Everything has become a mess” too platitudinous anyone can use, the type of terror, even if we.

Most people, it seems, dream of trying their hand at novel writing. And most people, unfortunately, not as much as possible.

Why is this?

Maybe they did not have time. (Although I believe that we can always find time to do something if we want a serious shortage enough.) More likely, they simply don’t think that they have “what it takes”, as if writers were somehow a breed apart. If you have any doubts about your own abilities, here are what I consider to be the three most important keys to successful new fiction book writing…

1. Taking note of a new type of writing talent

I’m not talking genius here. We can not have Dostoevsky. You simply need a love of language – a “way with words”, if you like. Oh, and a good muscular imagination won’t hurt you, either. Now, I don’t know you, of course, but my guess is that you wouldn’t be reading this article in the first place if you weren’t the daydreaming kind, and if you had the literary equivalent of two left feet.

2. Writing fiction and the hard work (and a large number of it)

Work is not stimulating and interesting and surprising rewards. However, you will never make it far more than a few pages before the novel, if you like to moderate live. You must have a clear understanding of the purpose of all these efforts, too. Yes, money is enough to make a profit from writing fiction, but if its funds, incentive you…Well, we just said that it must be easier ways to step-down. The same thing may happen chase fame and fortune.

3. You Need to Know the best thriller books Writing “Rules” (and Know When to Break Them, Too)

Access to any decent bookstore, you will find dozens of titles in the arts and crafts of writing fiction. Them from the general to the specific (the entire book has been written on the narrative voice), and from not so great to frank. Needless to say, there is a similar range of available help on the Internet, too (though here, the “not-so-great” can be truly awful). Anyway, I hope this article has convinced you that there really is nothing stopping you from getting to work on your new fiction book.

You want to cover all angles of your sites niche, and make sure you cover the top 5 to 7 keywords in your particular area.  Do not try to get ranked on too many at one time, you need to focus your energy and article writing on a specific set until you start seeing visible results, then move on to a few others.  Once you have your niche articles written, you will need to have a tool to help you spin the content.

For those of you who are not familiar with this, spinning simply means that you have several variations of sentences both in structure and content that are randomly varied as the article is posted. For example, one of your sentences might be “The dog is brown”. If you wanted to change this around, you could also say almost the same thing with “The dog has black fur”.  So its basically the same end image, but using different words.   The reason you do this is most of the search engines will impose a duplicate content penalty at some point for repeatedly posting the exact same article. The cutoff area is not really stated by the search engines, its a gray area. In general, even with spinning, I try to never post more than 20 identical copies of the same article to sites on the web.
